PUTRAJAYA: More state Barisan Nasional leaders are believed to have met Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak over final preparations for the coalition in the impending general election.
As at 12.30pm Friday, leaders spotted to have entered and left the Prime Minister's Office complex here were Penang Umno state liaison chief Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman and Perlis Umno deputy liaison chiefDatuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.
Sarawak chief minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud is also believed to have met Najib this morning.
An insider confirmed that Najib, who is Barisan chief, met with state representatives from Johor, Sabah, Selangor, Terengganu, Perak and Malacca on Thursday.
It is believed that Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor could be present with Najib in all these meetings.
