YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir sangat popular. Malahan semua yang hadir pada 1st Malaysian - Asean Regional Bloggers Conference hari ini tidak segan segan menunjuk kan betapa sayang nya mereka pada Tun. You can see it their faces when Tun was giving his speech and no security protocol can stop Tun die-hard fans from getting closed to him and snap a picture or two with Tun. Some even armed themselves with Doctor In The House book to get Tun's autograph. Even Tun Dr Siti Hasmah was not spared.
Such a warm welcome did not in any way stop Tun from giving a fatherly warning to bloggers. In his own words he said " Even though I agreed to be Penaung or Patron for Bloghouse Malaysia it does not mean I will be soft on you bloggers".
You must write responsibly, bloggers should be treated fairly by the authorities but at the same time you are responsible for what you write, Tun said.
"We want to see better things in our country " that should be the objective of honorable people who blog.
His last words were " the government and the people must be fair to each other and when we write we must write for the betterment of our country whether or not we write for or against the government".
